Epiphany's Summer of No Rain

This is a page for pictures of Epiphany's Summer of No Rain. Her name was given to her because she was born in the middle of a drought Virginia was suffering from in the summer of 2002. She is Fawn in color, which is the more common color seen in Mastiffs. She has a very laid back dispostion. Rain is now spayed and retired from the show ring. She is a wonderful pet that lays around and is loved very much.

Feel free to contact Candi Thore and/or Tracy Thore at: gentlegiants@epiphanymastiffs.comfor questions about owning your own Mastiff.

When we showed Rain in Chesapeake, VA we were surprised when she placed Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at 9 1/2 months of age which earned her first points towards her Championship!! Her second day there she beat a 4 year old for Reserve Winner's Bitch. Rain won her class both days. She was Best Mastiff puppy both days also.

Typical day for Rain- sprawled out in the yard sleeping. Her Grandmother Sheba can be seen in the background sleeping also.
Playing with one of the many stuffed toys for our dogs and puppies that are in a box in our living room. When the Mastiffs come inside they go straight to the toy box and get a toy out and play with it until they fall asleep. The Shepherds don't seem to care as much about the toys. Rain is 7 months of age here.
She keeps insisting that she can fit in the tiny, tiny doghouse we have in our yard for small puppies. Rain is almost 7 months of age here.
She can fit in the doghouse, but she is probably very uncomfortable and too stubborn to show it.
Still trying to pretend that she's comfy in the tiny doghouse.
"I'm not coming out until you make me!! No matter how tight it is in here!"
